Original Fine Art by Judith Webb
As a self-taught artist, painting and drawing has been a passion
of mine from an early age. However I didn’t begin in earnest until
I went to live in Canada, where being surrounded by such incredible
scenery I wanted to portray the richness I could see onto canvas
Having an opportunity to exhibit at a small venue at that time,
I sold my first painting, I knew then, what I wanted to do in the future
Later I moved to America and whilst there I had the good fortune
to meet British artist Raymond Klee, his vibrant style and
enthusiasm was inspirational.
Some years later I returned to England, and became a member
of the Society of Amateur Artists, they held an exhibition at a
London gallery where one of my paintings was shown.
Recently, A light at the end of the tunnel was selected to be part
of the Lily Oncology exhibition at the Royal College of art London
A cross-stitch company now uses several of my art-works in their designs
Whilst Children Playing at the seaside is to be used in a publication.
Through my own internet art gallery, I have sold paintings nationally
as well as worldwide.
I now regularly showcase my art in and around my hometown
of Salisbury Wiltshire.
Recently I have been approached to have one of my Chess paintings used to promote an international Chess tournament
